Firey red eyes, they burn a hole through my soul. It hurts me to see him so hurt! True, I should have told him, but this was my decision to make.
16...She walks into the family reunion, sweat dripping down the sides of her face from the hot scorching Atlanta sun. Uncles and cousins stare. My, how she's grown! Hips spread, thighs thick, and tender breast that weren't there two years ago. The looks excite her and the comments entice her.
Sophomore year, the boys swarm. It was as if she had just transferred from another school. The goofy nerd with the glasses, braces, adn rolling bag was long gone! She got her braces taken out over the summer and the smile was to die for. She was allowed to wear contacts now and the deep brown of her eyes captured you into her stare. She was different and she liked it. No longer was she made fun of. No longer was she not asked to school dances. It was now her time...it was all about her.
And he thought she would change. Thought it would eventually go from being about her to being about them. So he stayed. He loved. He spent time, he spent money, he spent nights praying that she'd change and their relationship would grow.
She loved him so he stayed. She knew he would never leave. She did love him, but not for who he was. She loved what he was for her; a companion, a lover, someone who'd do whatever she asked.
So they played, they touched, they laid and she was with child. He was elated. Thought they could finally be a family. Out of high school, he'd told himself she'd grown; she was no longer the spoiled, self-fulfilled girl he'd known. And then she came and acted like nothing happened. Their child was no more and he had no say. "My figure...my body would be shot". Once again she thought of herself...never cared to ask him how he felt. So he picked up the knife without hesitation and all she could see was the fire in his eyes!
