...who knows...word vomit...

The portrait lay in a canvas of blues black and grays...each time he looked at the colors that lay available for his use he couldn't bring himself to stroke the yellows and reds and purples...the oranges and greens did not seem appealing for this work of art he was to produce. She had enveloped his mind and would not leave his thoughts!! She gave and he took...he used and abused...and now when he thought of her all that came to mind was pain and turmoil! He couldn't produce her in a serene scene...couldn't paint her in calm and comfort...although he remembered the good times they shared all he could see was the hurt he caused...and he regretted...regretted what he had made her and what she had allowed him to do to her psyche...she was torn...broken down...unaccomplished...unappreciated...insecure...insignificant...unimportant...untrustworthy...she was done...and it was all because of what had become of them...

I'd rather live alone (not lonely) and be secure within myself than to be in a relationship where I'm so unsure of myself that I allow my partner to mold me and eventually break me! (And yes there is a difference between being alone and being lonely...I choose to be alone and am happy and comfortable in my time with myself...)

here's the quote

"Language has created the word loneliness to express the pain of being alone, and the word solitude to express the glory of being alone" - Paul Tillich
