Build me up...

They count us like we're not part of the whole...make us feel secluded...teach a story that makes us remain the minority...they build up institutions cause they KNOW our young men aren't gonna make it...they create these laws with their different clauses that target out people...then we end up locked up doing 2-5 while our conunterparts get off for good behavior...we end up on parole and can't vote...can't get a job...can't live...can't feed our kids...well they deemed you a failure since the third grade...they tested you to see if you'd make the cut...would you end up in a board room or in the jail cell gettin fucked?...they count you as the future "baby mamma" with no hope for success...they lay down the norm and make you fit the mold...you need to learn to break away and not become as your told...they build up jails and prisons and break down our souls...take a stand...have a voice...and tell them "build me up"...
